How to tell us about material on Inviteables that you believe infringes your copyright, and what happens next.

What a notice needs to contain

So that we can act on it, please include:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the work you say has been infringed.
• The specific location of the material — a link to the page, and enough detail to identify the individual photo or invitation.
• Your name, address, telephone number and email.
• A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.

Misrepresenting that material is infringing can make you liable for damages, including costs and legal fees.

What we do

On receiving a complete notice we remove or disable access to the material, and let the person who posted it know. They may send a counter-notification if they believe the removal was a mistake or a misidentification.

Repeat infringers

We terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe, and we may remove an event album and cancel the account behind it. What counts as "repeatedly" depends on the circumstances, and we apply it as a matter of practice rather than as a formality.

Reporting something other than copyright

Anyone can upload photographs to an event album by scanning its code. If you have found content that is abusive, sexual, involves a child, or was shared without the consent of the person in it, report it to abuse@inviteables.com rather than to the copyright address above — it is handled differently and more urgently.
